16" drop, for you BIG ballas...

:flipoff2:

Naah, just kidding. I was getting tired of tearing up the yard moving my trailer around to park it with the CTD (Not to mention getting the truck stuck once or twice), so I figured I could use the cruiser, which necessitates that amount of drop because of where the receiver is...

It outta look funny with a 12ft. long vehicle moving a 16ft. trailer.. but it should maneuver very well!

The black part on the bottom is from one of those adjustable height hitch things...

I hope not with those boogers you call welds on the black part :flipoff2: :D

Only problem is, that part came off a manufactured hitch according to his original post....

Exactly... which is why I made SURE to mention it.. Those are nasty, aren't they? But they have held for many years, so just like you Lee... Looks ain't everything. :flipoff2:

I can make better welds and I have little welding experience with a arc welder lol. Oxy Acetylene however is another story, i'm still working on good welds with gases.
