DRW to SRW

Well I came across a D14 DRW with 4:10 gears for $75, but i need a SRW, sssoooo... what all do i need to do to make it a SRW?

It's probably cab and chassis rather than DRW which means a narrow housing. - fix=change housing

Basically get a different axle. I'm no expert on 14 bolts though. Maybe someone else can help with more details.

i guess the real question though is what width do you need/want. there is only a few inches between widths on the different axles, so you might be able to use what you have...

I dont have a 14bolt, still running a 10 bolt

Get SRW hubs, put them on C and C housing, done. You will then have what ya want.

Won't it be narrower than a standard with SRW axle then?

The hubs are offset on a CnC compared to a SRW

C&C and SRW housing are the same. just the hubs are different.
SRW hubs on a C&C housing = SRW width.
(the hubs on a C&C are DRW hubs)

i dont think its worth it. I wouldnt pay more than $100 for a 14 bolt...much less the money to swap hubs. there are too many out there that are exactly what you need
