Dumb question on Contico Tuff Boxes

Can anybody tell me whether or not a complete (with hub) TJ long side D30 shaft will fit inside a Contico tuff box? I've measured and done the trigonometry, and it's within a half inch or so of fitting corner to corner.

Lid has to close. My math was based on sticking the bearing down in one corner and having the splines at the opposite side top corner. It's damn close.

And yeah, the only shafts I have are filthy. Don't really feel like I could drop one of them down in a display and then not buy it.

I have to check my trailer box for brand, but I 'think' thats the one I have. If so, it fits as you described, with the hub low and the splines up high...

I believe it does. We had spare everything for the old green ecors TJ in one. I know I had spare shafts and don't recall moving the long side separate from the box. So I'd say it was in there.
