At least they're kind enough around here to provide me with a low, sloped curb (if any curb at all) to drive over. I'm usually already doing 5-10 over the posted speed limit, and I don't like to slow down if I don't have to. Big Yukon. Gas and brakes are expensive, so I like to carry as much inertia with me as possible. At least, that's my excuse!

There's a road in Lewisville that has three roundabouts within a quarter mile of each other, but two of them have nothing but embossed decorative "brick" in the middle. I can just about plow straight through them. Sometimes I pretend I'm trying to follow the blacktop, just because I like to feel the truck lean. I feel like I've influenced the locals, though. Most folks seem to hit those pretty hot, so you have to watch your 9:00 for a good ways before launching into the circle. All in all, they're not too bad, but there's still so many people who can't get it through their heads that you don't stop at the entrance unless you absolutely have to.
My favorite driver right now, though, is the one who pays no attention to anything around them, including speed limit signs. I have a stretch between me and Rural Hall where it goes from 55 to 25 to 35 to 50 all within a mile or less. You get behind that one ass who's going 40 in the 55. Enters the 25 and they speed up to 35 or 40, and maintain that through all the other zones, too. They have one way to drive, and you should just get used to it.
