Durham Trip

Looks like I'm heading to Durham h for 2 weeks starting 814. Who's in the area and knows some good eating or wants to get together? Not a drinker, but not above hitting a pub or bar for a good time. Not sure where I'm staying yet.

There are good parts... South point and American tobacco. And some places near dook.



Bali Hai is a great place for Mongolia.

There are several good places around Geer st. and Rigsbee. Geer St. Garden, Hutchins has some amazing pizza, Motor Co./Parts and Labor, and Fullsteam. Just don't venture to far north, or east, or west ....

Merritt's in Chapel Hill has some insanely good BLTs. Yeah, BLTs, as simple as they sound. Trust me.

Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas, Second Merritt's in Chapel Hill Best BLT in the country, Not a good time to go if you like watching girls with hairy pits and legs since schools out though.​

Aplaca Peruvian chicken. Best chicken I've ever had.
Also, hibachi 88 on hwy 55 next to food lion, has the best rice and pretty good hibachi.

Tai China in the same shopping center is pretty good. Or was before covid I ain't been there in a long while.


Keep going on 55 and find benetis for lunch. They used to have the best fried flounder on their lunch buffet. Again pre covid..
