Dyna bead question and wheel balancing

So I just had my 37s installed and went with Dyna beads for tire balancing... (10oz of beads per wheel like their website says) Well after I picked it up today and went for a test drive it drove like :poop:.. As soon as I hit 45+mph my steering wheel is crazy all over the place. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks and here are a couple of pics...

Good looking jeep. As far as steering, welcome to jk world. Was the lift already installed or is that new as well?

Brad we have met before and you have seen my jeep... Lift has been on for a long time... The only thing I had done was swapped out the 35s for 37s and now the steering wheel is going crazy... It feels like one of the tires is so far out of balance that it’s is throwing off everything else. I guess I can pull off each tire and take the weights off since I have the beads in them and see if that helps… Other than that I don’t know…

In my 35 PBRs I am running 12 ounces. These are heavy tires and as far as beads, more is better. Try adding a few ounces to each tire

Looks a lot different with the 37's. I don't know much about the beads but I know that once you go past 35's on the jk, they get a little funky. If you are ever in the area swing by my house and we will check it out.

My only experience is with my recent new tires. 33x12.5x15.
Used 8 oz. per tire, & very happy! Bought new tires for my celica, 185x70x14, put 1oz. in each, & does pretty good. Sometimes, if I get up a round 70, they bounce for a few miles, & then seem to settle out.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feed back... I'll try adding a few more oz's and see if that works...

Yeh, I would agree that 10oz probably isn't enough.

FWIW...you shouldnt have wheel weight on the rims and dyna beads in the tire...

Just had two tires put on the steer axle of my coach last week and balanced them with anti freeze and water myself. Tires are Michelin 295/85 x 22.5 and weighs 130# without the wheels. Balanced out great!

I pulled the weights off the rims and it's still driving like all my wheels are having a seizuer... I think I'm gonna dump the beads and go with the traditional tire weights... Does anybody know of a place here in Asheville that will balance 37s?

if it were me, I'd pour som AF/Water in each...the best and cheapest balance you can find and a glass smooth ride.

I'm running dynabeads in my 35s. Sounds like your bigger tires may have just exposed another issue. Take the weights off with beads. Throw them on a balancer with the beads still in and see how they look. Good luck.

I'm really curious with this... You are saying leave the beads in and add how much AF per tire?

I used Equal in my 52" XZL's works great.

That's a NEGATIVE...

add how much AF per tire?

I got the idea from YHDG, whose Boggers were VERY smooth on the street. He has a special "measuring column" to mix 50/50 water & AF. Since I couldn't find one like his, I used a 12oz clear beer bottle (found "center" by filling one & pouring into another until the level was even in both).

I've had 12 fluid ozs. of 50/50 in each of my 33" bias Swampers for years with no balance issues...

I've ran AF/Water for 10+ years.
You use the AF for the rust inhibiting properties.

Just put an equal amount in each is the key.
Take the valve core out then I built a siphon to suck the water into the valve stem.

I got them balanced today at the tire station... They guys were so cool with me, they didn't charge me much, got me in and out fast... And it only took about 65oz total for 4 tires .... I have to say I can 70mph now and it's smooth....
