I am installing a poison spider trail cage in my 88 YJ and noticed I can not access the e-brake pedal and the e-brake release. The A-pillar "down tube" is directly in the way. Has anyone installed this and found a solution? What have you guys done when you install a full cage; I assume you have the same issue.

Thanks,
Dan

I installed one in mine, then bent the arm about 1/4", turned the handle verticle and it clears.

It really depends on how close the tub is to the tub. My cage is 2" tube and it just touches the door sill. Here is what I did..

The pedal and release is part of one assembly and bracket.
1) Loosen (don't remove) the 2 bolts that hold the assembly to the firewall.
2) remove the bolt holding the assemble to the bracket attached to side of the tub.
3) Pull the whole assemble away from the side of tub as far as you need to..
4) drill new hole in the tub bracket and install new bolt.

I bent mine to the right so when i pull it it goes right by the tube. But When i push the pedal down i put my foot on the metal then when it goes down about 2 clicks i use the foot petal part. Hope that helps up, but that is an easy fix
