I bought a second hand Eaton E-locker for my ford 8.8 a while back and I think it has taken a crap on me. I know I have a good connection on the positive & negitave plugs. I tested them with a test light. I only have one wheel spinning and a bit of a whirling noise when I had it turned on going up a muddy hill on saw mill. I wondering if you can rebuild these units or am I back in the market for a new locker?
Thanks in advance....

I`ve got a few links saved. I`ll have to dig them up.

You're in luck, I did a complete tear down and rebuild write up over on Fullsizebronco.com when I had to rebuild my 8.8's e-locker. I bet your engagement pins look a lot like this pic. See how the engagement pins are rounded off? That causes them to skip over the slot instead on engaging it, and it makes a ratcheting sound.

Anyway, here is the full write up, part numbers for the rebuild kit you need, where to buy it, etc.
