Has anyone ever had an E4OD go from pulling in every gear just to nothing. PO drove it in the home and it is just like being in neutral now. Could there be an electrical problem with the tranny. PO said it never slipped before that moment.

Had one die like that one time on the way home from Tellico. I think it had reverse, but no forward gears. Rolling down the interstate at 60mph, went to shift, and that was all she wrote.
If there's an electrical problem, it might return trouble codes...?

is it behind a powerstroke?
if it is behind a gasser it is most likely the front planetary has stripped. gas e4od's have an aluminium front planet, diesels have a cast iron front planet which rarely strips.
