I'm looking an e85 station in SC or nc near to Rutherfordton. Chesnee, fingerville, landrum, etc... Anyone know? My garlerfu has failed me.

Why are you buying that crap? My wood splitter has a sticker on it that says it will cause engine damage.

Haha yeah. Going to run it in a flex fuel car instead of additives to try and flush injectors because it requires more fuel and will increase injector opening times. Oh and you can get lots of power out of e85 in boosted applications, almost as much as race fuel, due to good predetonation characteristics, at least from what I've read.

Wifes van has that option but I never ran it cause the general consensus on the Google seemed to be far less mileage and felt sluggish, no actual savings.

But yes most Sheetz have it available.

@a_kelley aome of my drag racing buddies run E85

Like everybody else said, Sheetz is your best bet. They will have E85 and E51. I have never seen a E15 though.

Right on.. was trying to find some close by, since most injector cleaner are alcohol/thinner based, figured it might clean up the injectors. Plugs said a few cylinders were lean and only hesitation was on take off from dead stop. Roll on and acceleration after 10mph was fine. Stumble cleared a little after new plugs, no popping anyway. (Oh and no codes or any sensors reading out of/borderline spec)

Find some race fuel and add a couple gallons of 110 to a tank, that’ll clear it up! :driver:

I think NC Sheetz stations has E 85 and E15

Not all of them do. I love running E15 in my Caravan, though. Same gas mileage and about 10-15 cents a gallon cheaper than 87 octane. Haven't noticed a performance difference up or down, but the Lexington location by the hospital doesn't have it.

I used to run E51 in my flex fuel 6.2L F250 when I was in OH, KY, or IN. If you run full tanks consecutively you will notice a 5-10% drop in fuel economy. Ethanol is not as energy dense per gallon (total BTUs) as gasoline.
