Mattracks are very cool, but way too expensive.
I wouldn't mind a set for the tow rig in the winter.
 
He, I'd like to get a set too, just for fun. It's not like we get anywhere near enough snow to actually need those. Be fun to see peoples reactions on the street. I bet they would actually get the hell out of the way!
 
mattracks are expensive. i looked into them for my durango, and the guy called me the next day saying they would be about 20k to get them. they also have some awesome videos on their site. they take about half an hour to install and you can go about 40mph with them.

I'd think it's better for the road since you are spreading the weight out over more area. Steering might be a bit tricky though.
 
One of the early episodes of Trucks! had a chevy pickup with a set. It was unstoppable, until it had to turn in a tight area. Turning radius not so good.
