Earthquakes= higher metal prices????

I have about 1/2 a dozen trucks that need to leave here and I have been holding out for the price to go back up at the crusher.With the earthquake in Haiti and now Chili I figure once they start to rebuild(figuring mid,late summer) the price will go way up.
Anybody have any insight in the scrap metal buisnes that can confirm my suspicions????

China and Japan would buy scrap metal and the top couple feet of dirt to find more metal.

It just went up 1 cent a lb here today, I'm sitting on some scrap myself hoping for the price to get over 10 cent a lb.

I talked to a guy today who was tearing down an old factory and he was gettin $12/100lb for the steel trusses.
