Was watching a few ecors videos on YouTube earlier and something caught my eye. Part of the video had a red ZJ that I now have and I am trying to figure out who the driver was. Is he still on here?? The driver number was 944.
 
I remember the ZJ. Cyd and I recognized it at the Flats, but couldn't remember who drove it. I thought maybe Dave from Oliver's...?
 
Not sure. The guy I got it from only played with it at URE. but I found it on YouTube racing. Though it was cool in a way.

Was that the one that had a rear coil fall out? I think they were running a white one, too.
 
Yeah Jeff drove one and Dave drove the other both for Oliver's Driveshaft
 
Yeah, the white one was an explorer, not a jeep...
 
I have a few trying to convince me to enter the red one and have fun with it. Not to sure about that tho.

IIRc that red thing has had a ... rough life.
Race it, it's done it already!
 
I thought about it. Swapping my LA kit over to my 97 zj, then taking the 4" RC and putting it on the red one and race it into the ground. I just don't have the funds for something like that or the time to try and find sponsors. As fun as it would be, I think this zj's racing days are over. :(

Bill (gogogadgetbiker) ran the red one at DPG for Dave when he couldn't race. I think it actually ran pretty decent if I remember correctly
 
I think the exploder held the record for the quickest break ever in ECORS. If i remember correctly broke a front hub about 8" into the Flats Race:)
