In the market for a good/reasonably priced camera and looking for some info.I feel like some funny business is goin on (not domestic or family related) and would like to know whats goin on while Im not around. What brands and features do I need to look and look out for??

Get one that shoots video for 30 seconds. And IR instead of a flash for at night. And if you think someone might see it (night time they are easier to spot) IR still shows red light. Get a game camera lock box.
Depending on what you want to do they also make cameras that sent instant updates when they go off.

Narrow down what features you want (possibly explain the location time and what you are wanting to catch could help narrow down your choices)

In the trees and area around my house/driveway.IR might be a problem.Updates is not necessarily a deal breaker for me but would be nice.I have some suspicions things are goin on and would like to confirm one way or another.

A time stamp would be an added bonus

You'll see a lot of naked dudes walking around in the woods playin with their peepee.

I bought a Bushnell from Wal Mart for about $100. I also purchase a big SD card, and lithium batteries. It has all kinds of settings, IR flash, etc. It still has the original batteries from February. I was overthinking it at the start, looking at all the options on the internet, and getting confused, then happened to be at WalMart for something else, and just bought what I found on the shelf. Zero regrets.

Get one that can take a series of pics. I have mine set to 5 pic burst. The first pic often is just partial, but a 5 pic burst will get many angles.
