well i didn listen and bought a edge j/a for my cummins took it down the road maybe a 1/4 mile and it shut off and wouldn crank back for 3 or 4 mins finnaly crunk back up and i made it home seemed like it ran fine on the way back but it popped all these codes up. what should i do ?

P0237 MAP Sens Voltage Too Low
P0973 Shift Solenoid A Ctrl Circ Low
P2146 Fuel Injector Group 1 Supply Voltage Circhift Solenoid A Ctrl Circ Low
P2149 Fuel Injector Group 2 Supply Voltage Circ
P2769 Torque Conv Clutch Circ Low

i should have listen to everyone and stayed away from edge:shaking:
 
I had the edge comp box and it worked flawlessly
 
It is probably sucking the fuel rail dry. You may want to look into an airdog 150 and an upgraded cp3. ALways good to have one where the cascade valve in the cp3 has been adjusted. Dont be fooled either if it through codes the first time it will throw codes again. Also if the programer locks you out that sucks because it stores your stock programing. That meens your computer will have to be reprogrammed if possible or replaced. Smarty does not do that. Thats why they are totally untraceable and dont F U N the A. But if you are still dead set on running the edge you need to get a upgraded fuel setup at the least.
 
These are the problems associated with these type programers. IT could very well be throwing to much timming and duration into it. causeing the computer to go into limp mode for a split second. Best solution put take the damn thing off put it on craigslist/ebay and buy a smarty. Even a good pressure box like an Mp would be a good start if you dont want a smarty. I just cant see putting more money into a thing to mask the underlying problem. Also if it is a timing /durattion issue or a rail pressure issue it will inevitablly take out your injectors and possible end in a dropped valve.
 
i already have a upgraded tranny, im gonna try and sell it on craigslist, it worked good on the other guys truck idn what happen with it on mine.
 
yeah man you did ask for our opinion and we did tell ya!!lol sorry it happened to you too!But I told ya i did the same, got one for an awesome price from a buddy but mine did the same thing your saying yours is doing.

I had the hot unlock code on mine and did have my airdog on my truck and as soon as you hammer it the truck would either pop loudly or just cutt off,sit for a minute and crank back up!!Really sucks scares the crap out of ya,especially when your going down I-40 and it does it!

I took that crap off and bought a smarty!
