Yeah, I went 4 years full-time, then was asked to take a semester off to get my shit together.
Then went one class a semester for years until my younger brother graduated and my son asked me if I graduated like Uncle Davey did. Two weeks later I was back enrolled full time (while working full-time and having one kid and a pregnant wife) and two years later I graduated.

BS in Sociology with a concentration in Pre Law.
I am an HR/Operations Mangager that interviews everyone from housekeepers to Doctors. From an HR perspective, I look at a degree as someone who was willing to push the extra mile and who may potentially have a lot of dedication and drive(especially those who go to school and work at the same time). I do not care where the degree is from. We have Duke grads and App State grads that make exactly the same.
Advice for what it is worth: If you are sending your kids to college, make them take all the required classes at a community college (first 2 years as a transfer student)! It saves a ton of money and the degree is exactly the same in the end.
On the other hand of education, if you want to get rich work for yourself. I know quiet a few with no further eduction that make well over 6 figures a year with no school loans!

HS diploma,just barely.I was fairly intelligent but nothing at school could hold my attn.I was too interested in Lo truck,loud stereos and girls.Lookin back I should have went somewhere that had more to offer,but they would have probably had lo truck,loud stereos,and girls there too.I took a couple of semesters of Auto body at the local tech school after graduation but quit.I had a fulltime job and a fulltime girl friend and school just didn't fit my schedule.
