efi vs propane and twin trbo

I am wondering which is a better way to go? I wont to build a sbc427 with 10.9:1 comp. and twin turbo. looking to get as close to 1000hp as possible and wonted to know can it be done with propane? Any help or advice would be helpful. thanks
 
11:1 compression with turbos and 1000hp? Mixers that large that don't suck are expensive as hell...but so is efi. What block will you be using?
 
Propane is variable octane depending on several factors such as temp and density. It is between 104-114 so it will like the high compression. The biggest problem I see is being able to deliver it fast enough for 1000hp. Most kits are designed for forklifts and even big forklifts need very little flow.
 
Ohv makes high hp mixers......could also run dual mixers with the second kinda acting like a 4 barrel
 
dart little m block and i want a good all around rig mud trails hills and just what ever i can get in to. I gona build a s-10 truggy with rockwells a power glide trans and divorced np205.
 
I ran a turbo on propane. If you are wanting to run twins I'd go with efi, the big problem you will have will be the refernce for the mixers. The EFI will give you alot more tuneablity. The only real problem I see is the amount of compression you want to run with either setup, seems high to me....
 
The motor is like a crate motor so compression can be changed to fit. I am just tossing some ideas around waiting on tax time to start build. All input is greatly appreciated.

And to the other response a dual quad air gap intake would work well with the idea of running 2 mixers?
