mid-eighties Ford HP60. Tie rod holes are egg shaped in the knuckles, what's the best fix?

Replace factory knuckles with Crane knuckles and gently slide the axle under a tube chassis. What do I win?

Ruff stuff makes some nice weld washers.

I know WFO sells tapered inserts. You drill it out to .875 and then drop them in there. You could either run heims with bolts or tie rod ends and the inserts.

I bought some from him a couple years ago, I guess he still is. I was surprised then that he still had them!

I talked to him and he still has them it sounds like. He used to be one of the few people with them though and now every place has them.
