Bought this ugly truck this summer, but really haven't done much other than drive it until recently. It's mostly been a YouTube channel truck. Trying to conserve money with my wife being sick, we sold some of our other stuff and plan to sell more. Then we bought this thing for cheap. $4k cheap. Mechanically the dude took care of it. It runs and drives awesome. Body has typical NBS truck rust, although a bit more progressed than usual. But, $4000 2500HD.....so whatever.

It is a 6.0L truck. When we bought it, it was rough with a capital F. The body was ugly and beat up, the interior was complete shit, it had mismatched tires and the bedliner was half peeled out. But, it ran great! I'm not sure I have many pictures, but here's the video where we introduced it.

I'll have more soon, I'm editing a super long video of rebuilding it. But I've been collecting parts and other than buying headlights and a new radiator, everything else was pretty much free.

I installed a complete interior out of a wrecked 99 - carpet, headliner, seats and some trim pieces. Then taillights off of that truck. I had some roll on Raptor liner I got off of Amazon fo free, so I cleaned up the old liner as best as I could and rolled it on. Then we found a later model tailgate cap in the woods, so I installed some nutserts and put that on there. The radiator was leaking so I installed a new one I got off of Amazon for $150. Then the turn signals were held in with zip ties so I installed some of the worst factory looking headlights off of Amazon. They were $85 but they should have been free. They look good after I had to do a lot of tweaks to repair them from just being crap in general. We shaved the side moldings and logo'd it up for our channel. I also cut off the rockers and installed a black trim piece on the rough edge. Looks acceptable. Then the best part, Custom Offsets hooked us up with some new wheels and tires. We'll be getting those in on Monday. The truck should be done by next weekend and we're going to try and do some rollers and good videos so I can finish. I am going to try and find some pictures or at least some screengrabs as I edit the video.

I'm excited about this thing. The truck was awesome before but he work really totally transformed the truck. And for like $250 all it? Yeah, I'm happy.

Well, in my excitement to get it done I just kind of assumed it tracked weird because the alignment was off. Well, it was off. Because the whole frontend is worn out. The alignment shop said they couldn't do it because it was so sloppy. They are friends of mine so he was like "hey, this frontend is shot. If you want to fix it and bring it back, we'll take care of it then."

So it is done. But not done again.
