Electric fan switch?

For you guys running aftermarket electric fans: What are you doing for a switch? Right now I have mine on a toggle switch, but I also would like to use a thermostat to control the fan. I thought I read on Pirate that you can get a generic one at an auto parts store, but they didn't have anything at advance auto. Does anyone have a thermostatic switch for an electric fan?

You should be able to get one from advance, auto zone, or o'reilly. It would probably be a Hayden unit. I had one on my last jeep and it worked great. The only problem with it being rated for 30 amps. Depending on your fan draw, it should work. I know you said you checked at advance, but they usually do carry them.

O reiilys has them in the back of the store where the trailer lighting stuff is

Hayden unit for about $30, that is what I run
