i got my hands on some taurus electric fans,built a shroud,now i need a switch...anyone know if oreillys,AZ,AA carry these...if not where can i order one

What kind of switch? Single throw? Double throw? Temp sensing? Adjustable? I've got a dual setup on the K5. I ran the first fan off of a temp switch I mounted on the thermostat housing and the second fan on a single throw switch so I could turn it on manually. Both fans go through seperate realys of course. If you go that route, any parts store will carry what you need. I get all of my stuff from O'Reilley's.

wow i guess i was kinda vague..temp sensing is what i need and im also running it manually

Painless Wiring makes on that screw into the block, very nice kit. Jegs catalog has several also. IMO don't scrimp on this, your engine is riding on it.

Advance auto has a tempsensing switch that I used on my RAM. It works great, on at 185 and then back off at 165. Also comes on when I cut the A/C on. $30 and it include the relay and a harness with all of the wiring. Good instructions included.
