Anyone know what this type of connector is called and how to get a part number for it? I thought the number pictured PBT-GF20 was it but apparently that is what it is made of. This is on a 2013 Chevy truck.

If they're even available for the public to buy, mouser.com would be the place. It's a Delphi connector but they probably make 150 different series. Your best bet would be a junk yard.

PBT-GF20 is 20% glass filled PBT, it's just a material callout. There's probably another small number (1 or 2 digits) on there somewhere that will be a mold cavity number, because all of that stuff is done in multi-cavity molds during injection molding. That's not an important number either, so ignore that one as well.

What's the front of the connector look like? Are the connector pins rotated 90 degrees from standard, and are the mating contacts flat or square? If those are rotated contacts (which it appears they are), that narrows down the possible connector families by a large amount.

I haven't seen a Delphi connector with that style of double lock plate (the red part), that's a new one for me...

The mating contacts are flat.

I'll have to take a picture of the other side of the connector.

No no no no......just bare them wires and twist that crap together @Dylan W.

That's what I'm talkin about. I bought a yukon that was wired for an amp/sub. I pulled all the wiring and found the 2ga power wire "extended" inside the plastic channel under the rear door sill. The pieces were stripped back about 3" and twisted together, with about a 6" piece of electrical tape mostly unraveled off of it... At least it had a 100 amp fuse ...

Still waiting on Dylan :shaking::shaking::lol:.

Poly Butyl Tetraphylate or something like that. glass filled 20%- an engineered molding resin

whats it go to? I can probably back track and get one fer ya- need to know exactly year make and model and application. you can de-pin them and reuse them if needed

Preferable to a shitty connector imho
Shitty being scotch blocks or what ever they call those wire cutting splice contraptions I hate.

2013 Silverado LT
I believe this is the M-BEC panel???? It's on the firewall next to the parking brake.

I'm adding a back up camera and I need to connect in to the pink wire for the reverse signal. I broke the clip that keeps the pin in trying to take it out.

sorry, I looked and cant order those. epoxy that sucka

Epoxy after installing connector and seating terminal.. prevents terminal clogging if using liquid epoxy. Probably good application for paste.

Send the picture to connector experts on Facebook, they'll give you a price and have you a new one in 2 days! Any electrical connector made.

If you need reverse signal it can be found at the bcm as well. Or at the rear view mirror if it has electrochromatic mirror.

I'm adding a rear view camera with the display in the mirror. Reverse signal is to cut on the display.

If your truck has an autodim mirror it will have reverse signal already there in the 16 pin connector. If not you can also tap at the bcm.
