Heres the scoop,
93 Nissan Hardbody
125amp USED alternator from a nissan Quest
0awg wiring from alt to battery and battery to grounds
Volvo 2 speed fan that uses same Taurus fan motor but different fan design
Audi 2 speed temp switch in lower radiater hose to factory Volvo 2 speed fan relay
Got it all hooked up two days ago, fan cools motor perfectly. Today the truck wouldn't start, jumped it and drove off to a buddies and went to leave and same thing. Turns out the alternator isnt making any juice. 125 amps should be plenty to run this fan. I'm clueless as to why my alternator crapped out imediatly after my elec fan install. I dont want to buy a new alt and get it in and it crap out as well. Anybody have any
