I need some help. My 98 TJ has a wiring problem. The rear tail lights do not work. Brake lights and reverse lights work but no tail lights. I am very electricaly challenged, so how do I go about trying to fix this?

So L7 is the power for your tail lights. Check for power there, each one of the two "V"s is a connector. Check for power at each one till you find power and close to there will be where your problem is. The wire on the bottom that goes to the stop lamp and back up is your ground, check it as well..

You didn't say...do the Turn signals work in the rear? If no, look at the tail lamp grounds as well.

Actually no, I figured since the brake lights worked, that they would be on the same fuse, but I probably should check just in case

Found this online, I think its the one in the top right. Separate fuses for brake, turn, tail, reverse.
