OK, I need some help for you Jeep Guru’s.
My son's 89 YJ with TBI FI 2.5 is having some sort of an electrical issue. When you turn on the head lights it will run fine for a little while then the jeep will lose power, start spiting and sputtering just for a moment then come back. It happens if just the running lights are on and even the vent blower motor, just not as bad. During my troubleshooting I unplugged both headlights, turned the headlights on and the problem was still there. The only piece that isn’t stock are the front side maker lights, I replaced them with LED’s.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Things that I have done to try to fix it:
Checked all grounds
Replaced the ignition module (under the dash on the column)
Replaced headlight switch
Cleaned and tighten fuse block connections
