Did anyone make it out to see Elton John and Billy Joel last night in charlotte. It was one hell of a show. They played for 3.5 hours. Well worth the money.

lol..from this thread alone......

I have to say that of all the shows i have seen, EJ puts on one of the most entertaining and enjoyable shows. When it's over your ears aren't bleeding and you don't feel as if you have been in a mosh pit for an hour and a half.
BTW, I worked at Walnut Creek amphitheater for four years so I've seen a few shows, some I'd like to forget. Some shows were almost historic, some were better than EJ like Tina Turner, many are actually boring to watch but as a whole EJ's are pretty decent.
Not really backing up his recent performance or music, just observations from the hundred plus shows I've seen.

No interest in seeing EJ, but I was shocked with another old group I saw last summer... ZZ Top. They closed the Brooks and Dunn show and had everyone on there feet. I was impressed with their sound and the performance was spot on.

Yeah I saw ZZ Top last year as well. That was one hell of a show.

I have been trying to see a lot of the older groups.

The ones I have seen:

Eric Clapton
ZZ Top
Sammy Hagar
The Eagles
AC/DC
EJ and Billy Joel

Now only if I could have seen Bad Company......

The Eagles was a damn good concert... Glenn Frye's voice was perfect for Desperado now that he's older and has a little gravely sound to it...

You are a troll, right?
Or a spy for the TU guys...or something not real....maybe you are bigfoot

Good music? Nah.. Do they bring the :gay:? Yea...

Just not my genre of music I guess. Rocketman yea its not too bad but still not my kinda music. Just messin with ya if you like the :poop: though its your perogative.
