Hey NOAS Crew,
We're only two months away from our annual Home Event at Uwharrie National Forest! Somehow it always sneaks up on us...which means it's officially time to start fixing all those "I'll get to it later" issues on your rig.
This year is a big one because we're celebrating 25 years as a club! That's 25 years of busted parts, late-night trail repairs, questionable spotting decisions, and friendships that keep us coming back. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or just joined the club, we're excited to celebrate this milestone with all of you.
And because every good trail ride deserves good food, Zach's father-in-law will be firing up the smoker and serving homemade BBQ for Saturday's club meal! Many thanks in advance to him for all of his hard work~
We'll also have our usual Saturday raffle, packed with goodies for your rigs. Who knows—you might go home with the part you've been meaning to buy, or at least something shiny enough to make your old truck feel a little more loved.
We'll be camping at our usual home away from home— the Riverbend Campground, behind the ElDorado Outpost. If you've been there before, you know the routine. If it's your first time, don't worry there's plenty of space for everyone. You'll have your choice of "out in the field" which is perfect for those of you bringing campers or want wide open space for your tent, or "in the woods" which is my preferred place for my hammock and a few other people who prefer the shade.
So start checking fluids, fix those mystery squeaks and rattles, charge your radios, throw a spare U-joint (or two) in your toolbox, and make sure your cooler is well stocked and ready to roll~
Most importantly, bring yourself and be ready for a weekend full of trails, great food, plenty of laughs, and even better company.
Here's to 25 years of muddy tires, scratched skid plates, campfire laughs, and memories we'll be talking about for years to come.
As usual, I'll give y'all an event details email the month before the event, so keep an eye out for that if you're new to our Uwharrie events, otherwise feel free to email me!
Can't wait to see y'all on the trails!
Ps:
Please be sure to fill out the registration so we know how many we'll be cooking for!
