Engine code

My 2006 Ram started acting up on the way to work this morning. The gauge cluster started flashing and then stopped and when I accelerate it does it again. The code that came up was P2509 (Power Input Signal Intermittent). I checked my connections and everything is secure but its still doing it. The engine light is now on, the tach and speedo will just stop working and then cut back on all while the engine idles perfectly. Anyone know what I can try??

being that it is a 06 I would say to go to the Dodge place and have them look at it

Sounds like the alternator may be going out. Make sure you are getting around 13.5 volts to the battery.

Sounds like the speed sensor cable. Mine is doing the same thing. Had the code pulled this weekend and reset. Now the check engine light is back on. My speedo/tach doesnt work at all.
