I finished my first engine swap, put a new 92 engine in a 91 Explorer. When I turn the key, the starter turns the engine, but I get no spark or start. The coil pack is good, spark plug wires are good, and I have searched for unconnected wires/plugs a hundred times, they all look good. I'm at my wits end! Any ideas?

is there 12 volts at the coil? That would be a good place to start

No spark prolly means a sensor or theft system is killing the spark. Bad cam and crank sensors cause that as well.

Yeah, the guy at Advanced told me it might be the crank sensor, but I changed it and nothin happens. Ill have to look in to the cam sensor though.

x2 on the ground problem. You can have 12 volts to everything in the world, but it's useless without a good engine ground. Hook the clamp from your test light to your positive battery terminal and touch the engine block with the other end, if it lights up the ground is good, if not find the ground wire and hook it up. Good luck.

According to that ^^^ test, I'm grounded ok. Would that rule out all but a busted sensor or computer?

check the codes in the pcm and let me know what they are and I can help you more from there.
