well i have 105k on my cherokee engine, and a brand new 4.5" lift kit...

should i buy a cherokee with less miles and build it and sell mine(3" on it already), or should i build mine and then replace my engine when it dies?

how much is a new 4.0 installed gonna run?

Keep it!

Just keep it. The miles you have aren't bad. These 4.0's last forever. Right now you know how your jeep is. To buy another there might be some skeletons hidden. Like was it hit, under water, neglected, abused. If yours is in good working order keep it.

keep it. You shouldn't have a problem getting 250K out of it. If you really feel like you need something else, then just rebuild your current engine, stroker style.

you have plenty of miles left on that engine

you will need to change your water pump before it fails at 120k I have had 5 of these and that is when they go :)

Keep it! I have 125K miles on the 4.0 in the Grand Cherokee and 111K miles on the 4.0 in my TJ. You'll end up changing a water pump and some electronic sensors, but it will still be cheaper than another vehicle.
