Working on an engine test stand to get the SBC 350 ready for the swap. Here's what I cobbled up today. More pics after I get the engine on it.

Easy enough to see where your engine will mount to, are you gonna have something to mount the rear of the engine to? or are you gonna have a tranny hooked to it? Radiator? or just not got that far yet?

Patience grasshopper :) Finished mounting the radiator last night, still a work in progress.

John, are you gonna run that motor on that thing?! Good luck my man, just dont blip the throttle. I would be concerned that it would tip over. It looks fine for a stand IMO.

should be fine, i would have made it a bit wider, but it will work.. I made one many years ago back in highschool, it was out of angle iron. Small rad. upfront, small, 'dash' with a few gauges, really made it easy to get the came broke in and fiddle with things (as I was learning).

Will definitely make doing your TBI setup, cake...

John, when that motor flips over when it fires/ stumbles from sitting a while, give me a call, I will have another one out soon! Seriously, watch one torque on startup while its bolted in a chassis and give it some consideration. On another note, I have lots of brackets for you if you run into fitment issues around the steering etc.

Looks like the start of a home-grown tube chassis.

You could put this whole setup in the middle of a John-boat, and run a driveshaft straight from the crank to a propeller...that would be bitchen!

Looks great John!

Got the engine mounted today. Rolls around good. Now I need to get a fuel pump, some rad hoses and see if this baby will run :) Jeff, you can see the bracket mounted on the bell!
