Educate me on the other alternative fuels. I am at work and am not allowed to search sites (but still play on here.. shhhhh). I was thinking once the engine goes in my Jeep i would upgrade to an alternative fuel. I searched a few months back for a gas station with Flex Fuel. There was only one and it was BP. I cant afford to go to the middle of Charlotte to fill up. Is this a cheaper alternative. How about the engines that run on veggie oil? do you fill up in the McD's drive thru while you are getting a burger? Just seeing what my options are seeing as gas is getting higher and i probably would have been better off maintaining a Rolls Royce than a Jeep. :driver:

for veg oils and bio diesel you need a diesel engine
for E85 cost less but you use about 2 times as much there is really no point in doing that you do not gain any thing.

Waste Veg Oil (WVO) and BioDiesel, like Ridge said you have to have a Diesel car or truck. I have a Jetta Diesel and thinking about converting to WVO. GreaseCar.com has aome nice kits to convert, and kits to filter the WVO. WVO should be free if you know someone that owns a restaurant. Cheap means of travel.

If your time isn't worth much to ya, that is.
