Eventful start to my morning.

So I had to work at 7 AM this morning, so I left the house about 6:30. As I was walking out of the breezeway of my apartment building I noticed two guys off to my right, one throwing his elbow through a blazer's window. His buddy saw me, said something to the other guy, then he opened the door to the blazer and snatched a purse. They took off running and I called the cops. I couldn't stick around, but I gave the information to 911 and a sergeant was pulling into my complex within 2 minutes of the call. I got a call about an hour later asking for more detailed information of the suspects because they had some in custody. I got another call later today asking for the information again so that they could complete the report. The police also said there were multiple car break ins this morning in my complex.

I'm glad I decided to stop and get some chocolate milk this morning on my way to work, otherwise I wouldn't have been out there to see them do it. It's nice to see the police actually get the guys, I can't stand thieves.

Thanks for calling it in! You did a good thing and should be proud of your quick response to the situation!

Being the devils advocate here. Why make it easy for the thiefs anyways? The person shouldnt have left her purse in the vehicle to begin with. Sounds like its easy pickings in your apt complex parking lot. Thats why the thieves keep coming back. Anyways thanks for being pro active.

While I agree, in theory, with not leaving a purse in view in a vehicle (it's just not a good idea).....I don't agree with blaming the victim (and I know you are merely playing devil's advocate). Thieves come back because....well....they are shitbags. If it's not a purse in open view, then it's a car stereo out of the dash, a TV out of the apartment, the locked up bike out of the bike rack.

That like saying "If the woman had just left her vagina at home, then the rapist wouldn't have raped her."

Kudos to you spykosshow for screwing these dirtbags' Sunday a good bit.

"If the woman had left just her vagina at home, then her husband would be a lot happier."

Fixed it for you

you can just put an elbow through a side window to open it?

I remember a few years ago finding this abandoned house in my neighborhood with an old subaru in the drive way and trying to knock out the side window. I threw a heavy sledge/axe thing at it, and the damn thing bounced off and just about took out my leg :shaking:

Why?
And why?
And, again, why post that you tried to trash something online?

That being said, I've broken the side window out of my own truck before pretty easily?
Once with a lacrosse ball, once I was pissed, and then the back window with my head.
:(
(stupid, stupid high school angst, and stupid clumsy)

Thankfully I just had a jacket in my car and that's it. My door was unlocked too because the driver power lock is broken and I had forgotten to push down the button when I got out the night before.

I go for the Maola(?) in the half gallon. The best 3 bucks you can spend.
Ahhh Maola... good stuf! Yet, in my haste to be a smart arse, I inadvertently forgot the best of the bunch... Maple View Farms Chocolate Milk. Right out of the glass bottle... mmmmmmm... I need to run out to Lowes Foods tomorrow to turn in all my empty bottles and get myself some more!!

How much chocolate do you think they have to feed the cows to get the milk like that?
