This probably should be in the "sucks ***" section of the garage, but ....

Going through my health records is astounding. I should buy stock in CVS just to recoup some of my losses for meds there.
Frustration 1- Our local has constantly screwed up my scripts the last 3-4 months. They blame the app, corporate rules, corporate action, or me .... usually me for the issue, but then I've caught them in so many lies and called them out on it they absolutely hate me now.

Frustration 2 - My health issues stemming from the Long Covid. I currently have 17 diagnosed diseases or conditions. Seven-fricken-teen (sigh!)

Frustration 3 - Neurological issues ... not mental ... are driving me insane!!! I'm a ham radio guy. 25+ years. My Morse Code is just gone. Vamooshed! Can't remember enough send or copy.
The only things I can remember easily is long time skills. I have a vinyl cutter and constantly have to google how to do even the easy stuff. Then turn around and have to google it again tomorrow. Then trying to do some things just result in a migraine ... quick!

Sorry for the post really ... just needed to vent and don't want to do it to my wife ... my crap is already hard enough on her!

It'll get better ( / ) I know it. Just very very very very slow going.

I work for the government.

So - yes, daily.

I mean have you ever tried to have an actual discussion with @shawn on here that’s real frustration 😂! Talking to insurance companies is almost easier 😂
I have no idea what you're talking about...

Thumbs up for Cost Plus.

I get one my meds there. Makes the kidney work better and hopefully last. But, it was $177/month at our local (cheaper than CVS/WM/etc) pharmacy, and my insurance didn't cover it. Only $48 a month at Cost Plus. It was around 340 OOP at Walgreens.

I'm also DoD/DoN, civilian. I'm not exactly worried about getting dropped, but there will be plenty of BS to deal with, I'm sure.

What kicked all this off was specifically dealing with CVS. The cost ( to me ) isn't really that bad.
I'm fully disabled from the Long Covid so my Medicare picks up a BUNCH!
It's good even though it's United Healthcare ...... I guess I'm reaping the benefits of the UHC CEO being killed.
Buuut ... CVS cancelled one prescription 6 days in a row!
I called about it and the drug lady there "fixed" the issue. The next day as I am using the app to update and place a new order, I notice it was cancelled. (This was the 6th time.)
So I hop my unhappy butt into the truck and go there, thru the drive thru, and when I get to the window, I literally park and ask for the pharmacist.
I ask her " Can you tell me why you bunch of idiots keep cancelling my prescriptions".
Of course she goes on the defensive and gets pissed off all at once.
Eventually without really finding any thing out they say it was because the customer said put it back.
My reply "Why would I do that?". It was on file as being ready the day before by the time I got off the phone with them and this is a medicine I NEED TO BREATH!
So they go get the "customer shelf return list" to show where I told them to return it. The girl comes back and after about 30 seconds of whispering to the pharmacist " we can't find that page of the list .... we'll have it ready in 10 minutes"

I hate people ( in general )!

The app makes it easy to try and manage, but sounds to me like it would be worth the effort to explore another pharmacy, even a different CVS location. My perscription coverage is through Caremark, so obviously they want us to use CVS. The closest one to me is always a pain to deal with, so we switched to one a little farther out, because the service is better. But still, they wont care everything for the fam, or at a competitive price, so the wife also goes to walmart and a local store to get the different things.

What is even more frustrating, is getting refills entered. The wife takes certain meds that can only have 30day scrips. Every month she has to call the pharmacy to make sure they have the meds and the current price, then call the Dr to get them to send in the refill, then call the pharmacy back to make sure they got it and are filling. Sometimes she might have to call multiples to determine who is will fill it, based on the dosage, or she has to start the whole process over again. And if something gets screwed in the system, it is up to her to call the Dr back to have it resent or changed. Apparently the pharmacy cant talk to the Dr office anymore, or atleast that is how it seems. The local stores are much better to deal with, but insurance doesnt cover as much of the cost.
