I've noticed that lately on here and other boards I'm on that no one is really getting anything sold. And I'm not talking about my overpriced junk either. I see pretty nice rigs and parts that get "bumped" over and over with no takers. And I don't think the prices are outrageous on everything on here. Maybe everyone is like me and just doesn't have the extra cash for projects like at one time, or are lots of people rolling in the money and buying new? I just thought it was curious. And again I'm not crying about my junk not being sold. Just noticed this.

As a mod I have to help clean up the sold threads, saw a rig sell in under. 2 hours yesterday.... I delete quit a few ads a day. Maybe it's me but seems to be getting better.

probably talking about a 06' ford on 46" rubber for 30+K I would love to meet the fella that buys that. I have a lot for sale too..

Hey this could be interesting.

Shawn - or any of you other geeks that have the right access - can you calculate what the average thread "life" is in the For Sale section?
And do this averaged over some chunk of time now, and 6 months ago, a year ago, 18 months... etc
Plotting that will tell you if there is any real change

(unless there has also been some change in how we manage threads :D)

↑↑↑↑↑I think that's a good idea, but lots of work.

What got me thinking about it was that the news says the economy is getting better, but people are still not spending money, especially on extras. Personally I don't see anything getting better, if anything is getting worse.
