EV's -- a good article

Great Article. In particular when it get's to the Lithium & Rare Earth metals, which the US basically gave the market to China! Trump wants to play Chess with China, but doesn't understand, that If China cuts us off, Were Screwed! They already did a temporary cut off on Japan, over a territorial dispute. They put Japan in it's place! Just look up, what products, Rare Metals, are in. :eek:
 
And to think how good of mileage we could get from our new cars without the power wars. The auto makers should be able to increase the mileage of everything we drive dramatically if we could get over hp and be reasonable. I like power as much as anyone, but I'd prefer mileage in a dd.
 
Good article. I had to google it, but 70 million cars were produced in 2016. I wonder if current technology EV batteries can even be built in that high volume.

Couldnt believe how much money I save per month driving my little 4 banger vs my V8 dakota, or the 4.SLOW.
 
Interesting read but diesel deaths? First I have heard of it..... I guess I need to try and google that.....

Eh, some agenda pushing going on with that one. Kinda like everything in California causes cancer, but as soon as you cross into Nevada, everything is completely ok.
