It's funny between my burban thread and your excursion thread and us each getting the opposite we need to do a long term look back at some point. They are almost the same years basically have the same miles and have similar engines, power wise anyways. It's looking like mine is already going to settle in at 10mpg around town as I was warned. I must confess I've been in the gas a time or 1000 this week though.
 
When I pick it up I'll let you know how it does. I do have the luxury of a company truck so it won't see a ton of miles.

Luckily I work 5mins from home. I also have the luxury that my xj is pretty streetable tooif I want a change of pace and a few mpg better.
 
Sadly the best mileage of any of my vehicles is my Commando on 42s...maybe the Lincoln on the highway.
