mine is rusted to :poop: and I need a whole new system.. also will be replacing the O2 sensors while Im at it.

but I need a recommendation for a good muffler and cat.
I looked at some flowmasters but wasn't sure which model to get. I want something with a good amount of rumble and loudness....

thanks

I put a banks monster exhaust on my '01 TJ. It sounds great on the road - I hate it when I'm in URE. Too much rumble and throaty sound making it too loud IMHO :shaking: - would have preferred more of a stock sound. My jeep is ocassionally on the road and more off road. Think about this when you pick your exhaust.

Magnaflow man its the only way go don't go with a pos crapmaster. Magnaflow will serve all your needs they even have replacement cats that are a very high quality. You think you want something loud & aggressive now but I can almost guarantee you'll hate it within 2 weeks especially if its your DD trust me I've had some ridiculously cars in my day

I would go with a 4in body magnapack its there version of a glasspack. Also don't go with to big of a pipe I wouldn't go over 2 1/4. I've used Magnaflow on multiple vehicles from turbo Nissan's duramax truck & F 150 they sound great no drone.

I've got a Magnoflow cat and a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler, and I like it a lot. It has a little rumble, but is not loud or obnoxious on or off road, which is exactly what I was going for.

also, my engine has been bogging down and ive been smelling this horrible ammonia smell which I think is probably my clogged cat, but should I also replace the O2 sensors as well or is there an easy way to test that?

im using the dynomax super turbo muffler and their mendrel bent pipe. sounds good not too throaty and awesome on the highway. pretty cheap too via rockauto.com and then theres a 75 dollar mail in rebate too. awesome!!!!
