Exhaust tailpipe position/orientation

Anybody have a guess as to the best orientation/position for the exhaust tailpipe to be in to minimize backdraft of exhaust fumes into the cab when the back "glass" is rolled up? I'm down to the CJ frame and can pretty much do what I want. Thanks!
 
45° out the corner worked well for me.
 
45 out the corner sounds good and extended to the outside edge of the tire to catch the side air stream perhaps

Don't go out too far... Rocks and trees like exhaust pipe.. :)
