Full stock system. I ran a "turbo muffler" straight off the cat with no tailpipe for a while. Made a lot more noise. Seemed to make more power when I put the stock exhaust back on.
I don't like to make a lot of noise in the woods because I hate hearing an over bearing exhaust break the serenity. Although I guess I'm being a hypocrite since both my "tow rig" & motorcycle have had exhaust work done from engine back.
Well
by just back before lift etc etc.

Time flies when you get crap for gas mileage?
Figured out why this one cracked I think.
The stupid weld for the exhaust hanger/mount/whatever broke.
The one in front of the cat mounted to the tranny.
I'm buying a header from Joe, aka Cherokee91red that he posted.
Now to get some new tires, and then go try and crack another hard top at UNF
But I am tempted to get a cat back kit, I don't want it much louder though. Or I might just go this route:
The big huge dual exhaust and maybe a type R sticker or four
I put a flowmaster 40 series on mine about a month ago and love it. The only reason I put a new muffler on was my factory one got a hole in it somehow... But when I added the flowmaster I started getting better gas mileage. Went from around 15.5 to 18. So it was def. worth the swap.
15.5 to 18 sounds damn good 2 me. does it sound nice and deep? i had a 2 chamber on my old truck but i wasnt sure how good it would sound with just a muff on the jeep
