Extended Brake Lines

Well, I'm needing to go ahead and get some longer brake lines, but wasn't sure where the best/better and preferably cheaper places to get these from would be (in the Triad area or mountain areas).

I've been told that you can use the braided steel lines from a tractor parts store. I think they can't be labeled as safe for automotive use, but can anyone verify that they aren't basically the exact same thing?

Contact Billy @ Alliance HTW from this board. He may be able to hook you up.

If not, I only paid ~$15 for custom lines last time I had them made...

Damn, this is getting as redundant as Andy and CRS, but Billy at Alliance HTW, has hooked me up on 2 projects now and done great work.

Seems like I gave him $40 last time for a pair of fronts ~30" long and aluminum crush collars.

BTW if he uses the rubber crush collars his are DOT approved.
