F-250 heater/AC fan control switch

I feel like a total newb asking this, but what is the part that controlls the speed of the fan motor for the heater and A/C? my switch inside the cab only works on High. It used to work for all speed levels, but throughout the years its starting to loose one speed at a time. I don't think its the motor, but maybe a resistor?

I think its on the firewall somewhere. Can anyone that has experience in this issue help me out a little?

it should be on the firewall imstalled on the airbox.

I cant remember either the name of the part, fan resistor sounds right

Correct, I think ford calls it the blower motor resistor. Simple to replace.
