I've got a 86 f150 with a rough country 6" lift kit on it. I took i today to get an alignment and was told that the camber was to far out to be adjusted by the stock setup. it was showing -1.4 and needs to be +3.0 therefor i would need to buy camber bushings that adjust to approx. 4.0 degrees. the problem is they don't seem to make them in that size. the guy that owns the shop said to move the axle pivot bolt up to the other hole in the bracket, which according to the instructions is for a 4" suspension lift, and that should correct the camber. The guy that doing the alignment, also the guy that helped install the lift, said that that might bind the front axle being it is a IFS truck. Please help! i don't want to spend another 120.00 bucks on parts right now. Thanks in advance

It almost sounds like you got 4" springs. I'd try moving it to the other hole and see. Another thing I'd question... If he aligned it on a rack theres a possibility that when he pulled the truck on it the toe was out and it drove the tires apart. That would squat the front and make the camber negative. Most alignment racks have turntables that the front tires sit on so that the wheels can be adjusted at ride height. Those turntables don't always move in or out to relieve the squat of the front end. Before you move the pivot points I'd try bringing the toe in a few turns on flat ground and driving 20 or 30 ft. and see if the front squats or rises. Get it where it doesn't rise or lower in forward or reverse. When you get it to that point, then I'd try the alignment again. TTB trucks can be a real pain to align.
