There's three pay campgrounds two on the Evarts side, one on the Putney side but you can camp in the Event Field for a small fee that goes to trail maintenance. There's water and Port-a-Jons there and plenty of intertainment

You can drive your rig from the event field to the trailhead you just need to drive conservatively and they won't bother you.
