ok, who messed up and put in a vote for "list"
i dont even know what that is

also, you gotta put in a vote for the day ALSO.

we gotta get on this guys, only 4 more months till the season starts! haha

Someone care to explain fantasy football(or any sport) to me?? I guess i just don't get it.

Do you pick a team and then just hold on the entire season and hope your people win or what?

Then again I cannot think of a single team sport that holds any interest to me, so needless to say I would never be able to follow something like this.

You should "DRAFT" position players from any team from the nfl list. A single player can only be on one team. After the draft you will have a complete list of position players you drafted ex:
1 qb
2rb
2wr
1te
1k
1 team defense

and then your backups.

Your team will then face other teams weekly and your team will accumulate points based on your individual players performance points.

You go through an entire season playing diff teams every week. Best records goto the playoffs and then a superbowl for the winners on the divisions.

^ you dont like sports??

As many man points as I may lose by saying this, no i don't like "sports." At least not team sports, and surely nothing that has a popular national league that i could watch on cable. Sports i care about might include, biking, disc golf, horseshoes, and any number of things, but no real team sports.(yes, i am aware there are teams in biking, but you know what i mean)

So in this fantasy football, the performance of your team is directly related with the performance of your players in the real season??

yes. When choosing your players, you need to consider who your players are playing in real life when deciding who goes on your roster and who gets benched. For example you have 2 RBs, one superstar, one average. The superstar's team is playing against the best run defense of all time, the average one is playing against an average defense...you might bench the superstar and play the average one. Also injuries, bye weeks, etc, come into play.

Basically it sucks you into paying a whole lot more attention to the entire NFL and teams you really dont give a fawk about.

OK, well I can appreciate how addictive an activity like this could become. I was kind of under the impression that once you drafted, it was a waiting game. Good luck guys.

exactly, i am a panthers fan of course...but fantasy football keeps you paying attention to all the teams etc etc. makes the whole NFL season more interesting imo.
