fawn wandered into camp sunday am

so I was at HCORE4x4's hunting cabin, sleeping in my truck during a hellacious storm. woke up sunday to a funky sound. So I grabbed my phone and took this.

mama was about 30' to the left of me not really knowing what to do. I wasnt aggressive, and she came back, but how cool is that? RIGHT spot, RIGHT time.

Very cool! I have a long habit of messing with deer during spring turkey with that sound. Myself and 2friends were out roosting some turkeys one evening in PA when this deer walked up. It fed around for a while then trotted off, I pulled out my video camera and started bleating, it came back. This went on for around 10mins, let the deer go, bring it back. If it was better light & not so grainy I'd put it on youtube but its work to make everything out. My friends finally started laughing out loud and that ended the video

I saw your chimney fishing video. I did that once and the chimney cracked in half...tall ways. Inside was the biggest bee hive I'd ever seen and thousands, if not millions, of bees started swarming. Everybody ran like hell.

That's pretty awesome. I saw 2 on our property the other evening. Pretty cool when they don't spook and walk up to you. I'm with GONOVRIT...that bleating sound during turkey season drives em crazy.
