TOO FUNNY! I sent that same add to my buddy up the street with all the hot rods and asked if he'd go half. Problem is that boat would reach the end of MIL before full speed

Buddy of mine sent it to me:

Shoot... hoping to buy one after the holidays. Probably finally going to sign back up for FB too so I can use marketplace

Down in FL visiting family again. I remember these running around when I was young. This one isn't a centurion though. Would love to get my hands on one.

No, it’s a tuned and deleted compound turbo diesel from a BMW 335d or X5d. They get 35-40mpg in the car and ~27-30mpg in the X5 in stock form. JLUs with the Fiat 3.0 diesel get 25-30mpg, and the BMW motor is a much better motor for both power and efficiency.

I was actually staring at my XJ this morning thinking about how much I’d love to do that swap on it. It’s lighter than a 335d, and the 335d I had was ungodly fast.

Do I need to find that meme of the aerodynamics of a jeep vs a cow?

Do it and prove to us and Diat what an opportunity was missed to stick it to the man
