Amazing that this NOS still pops up. But definitely likely to be way out of my price range. Would be awesome if it went to someone restoring something like a Jamboree or Super star.Interesting if true @amcjeepman

thats cool, but its infuriating when people don't even give a ballpark price so you have an idea of what you think they think it is worth.Interesting if true @amcjeepman

Packaging being particleboard makes me think it’s an omix Ada body from the Philippines. That 2x4 does not have 30 years of age on it eitherInteresting if true @amcjeepman

OMIX DMC-5464362 Steel Body Tub for 76-86 Jeep CJ-7
You only want the best for your CJ-7 restoration, and the best is original. The Omix Steel Body Tub is officially licensed by Mopar so it carries the Jeep name proudly stamped into the cowl, just like the original.www.quadratec.com
Is there any evidence factory spare tubs were even produced? Most of the molds ended up at omix ada factory, so new metal in the original mold would be just as good imoHow would you be able to tell that it is a factory body? Are there stamp markings or holes that aftermarket bodies dont have.
He will have a hard time selling unless it’s well documented. He’s not going to get more than the $5.5k omix sells for unless he’s got real good documentation.I thought about messaging him out of curiosity. But, I didn't feel like kicking tires.
I would ask "why?", but he didn't, so I guess I won't mess that theme up.Log into Facebook
