We are rapidly approaching the biggest day of the year at Gulches. Feb 16th is President's Day Run. We have a great caterer to make food available from Friday to Sunday and this year we have musical entertainment. All riverside campsites are taken but we do have a few other sites available.

Now for this weekend it looks like after the rain moves out Friday morning we should be good. Trails will be wet in spots so once again street tires may not be the way to go. Weather will be in the mid 50's both Saturday and Sunday.

I should be there.

We'll be down early Friday morning and wont be leaving til sometime Monday. Should be a awesome time. Should be some awesome night ridin too. Especially if we can get some of the big buggies on Skinny Pedal Ridge in the dark.

The rain is gone and we have the rest of Wednesday through Friday to dry out and the park should be in great shape for Saturday. This is the biggest weekend of our year. You won't want to miss it.

If the stars align just a little more, I may even be able to make this one:eek:

So how do the trails look?

Locked and loaded with my two rigs.
Heading south @ 6am.
Talked to Skip a couple of hours ago, trails are slick and mean.
Later, Jamal...

Well we have had a drastic weather change in the last 12 hours. The snow and rain storm that was to stay to the north and east has dropped right on us. Looks like rain on the park early then snow. Since we have many campers in the park already we will be open for those of you who want to slosh around in the mud. But for those of you with street tires and bald tires this is not your day. Sunday we will try to open but we will be very slick later in the day once we thaw out. I'm sorry for this change in weather but it is not something I could control.
