Well, the bridge is out and the crossing is armored with rock. Next month we will have to add some more and check over the trail to see if there are any other issues prior to opening day. Today we had a great turn out of folks and got a lot done with several others joining with only a few of us from Carolina Broncos. Despite the cold weather, late start due to folks getting stuck due to the snow and ice, we still got a lot done! The main service roads were still covered in snow and ice. We made it to the top of the hill from the back side and parked there and walked/skidded down to the creek. Everything was done by hand!

A quick count at the Hunt Camp meeting showed 48 vehicles and 66 people! Big thanks to all who braved the elements to help maintain the Uwharrie OHV trail system today!

Had a good time. Got the work done over on Falls Dam that needed to be done. Broke the tip on one auger and could not get another to run worth longer than 2 seconds. Both FS augers need to be worked on. Ground was frozen solid for the first 4 inches then not so bad further down.

Several groups worked to get all the rails and post laid out on Daniel. The back side was a solid sheet of ice. Triad jeep club is planning a separate weekend in March to try and get a good bit done. . Thanks for all who came despite the conditions.

All the rail hauled to the Daniel entrance was taking to all the work sites. I'm not 100% positive every site has everything it needed but I do know that most all of them got the rail..... Most of the sites got post but I know Morgan did not get in on the last run.

Was a complete mess out there:







I need a 4x4 truck..... LOL!
